Am I the only one who waited for warmer dirt and more moisture before planting corn? A few around us are done w/corn, and most are over half done, some - like me - just have a good start. How is everyone else getting along?

Same message John. I've heard several who are finished or near finished planting corn. At least three I have spoken with have already switched to beans. Last Spring burned too many people and they took advantage of nearly perfect weather for 18 days straight.

Started on the Sat. 17th, finished friday 23rd. Sat. was only a test plot, and didn't start until 4pm on sunday. All just north of Muncie. Hopefully it pays off. I'm a little nervous about it after the beggining of this week, but now that it's warming up fast again, I'm thinking it will be ok.

We haven't started any beans yet, but I'd imagine next week if the current trend keeps going
